Deep N the Cut Salon operates with a distinct approach that prioritizes the well-being of our client's hair. In order to provide convenience for both our customers and ourselves, we have adopted a scheduling system based on the number of hours required for each appointment, rather than offering service based pricing. This allows us to allocate the appropriate amount of time needed to achieve the desired hairstyle. Each client will receive services tailored to their needs and could include, one on one education, cleansing, hair shaping, styling, or treatments.
At DNC, we understand that every individual's hair is different, and we strive to craft our services accordingly. We are committed to maintaining a professional and welcoming environment where our clients can relax and trust in our expertise. We are a no stress gratuity free salon and welcome all hair types!
Step 1: Select Your Stylist
At Deep N the Cut Salon, we want to ensure that your appointment booking experience is seamless and tailored to your needs. Each of our stylists has their own unique hourly rate and specialties. To provide you with accurate and up-to-date information, we kindly request that you complete the corresponding questionnaire form for your chosen stylist.
Please be aware that if you decide to switch to a different stylist during the booking process, your initial booking will be canceled. To proceed with a new stylist, you will need to start the booking process again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is necessary to effectively accommodate your request.
Step 2: Submit the Proper Consultation Form
We want to know all about your hair goals and what you are looking to achieve during your first client appointment. Please be prepared to submit clear, current, front and back photos of your hair taken within the last 14 days. Each stylist has their own unique pricing, speciality and new client questionnaire.
Step 3: Follow Up Response
Your professional stylist will be in touch with you within 2-5 business days to provide a detailed consultation, gather any additional information and or booking instructions. Any follow up questions can be addressed at this time.
As a new client, we kindly ask you to fill out the questionnaire below. This will help us determine a customized plan that is tailored specifically to your hair type, concerns, and goals. By gathering this information, we can ensure that our stylists are fully prepared to provide you with the best possible service.
If you are a Tight Curly who uses heavy oils, butters, gels, (ECHO Styler, petroleum, Cantu, Shea Moisute, Curlsmith, coconut oil this information is for you!
At least 30 days leading up to your appointment you will forgo the use of oils, butters, and Eco Styler/Wetliner gel, heavy butters, oils, coconut oil, silicones, petroleum, lanolin, echo gel, wetliner styler gel, Cantu products, Shea moisture products, castor oil, Mielle, etc. These products/ingredients prevent water from entering in and have a huge impact on the outcome of your hair at our appointment.
What do I need to do?
1. Clarify with or Malibu Un doo goo, Kinky Curly Come Clean, once every 6-8 weeks. These are strong cleansers that help to start the process of removing build up from the hair. Use as directed!
2. Shampoo with AG Naturals Balance and Condition with AG Naturals Boost. Shampoo at least 4 times leading up to our appointment. You should be cleansing and conditioning at least every (7-10 days) leading up to appointment.
3. Style your wash and go with Uncle Funky's Curly Magic, or any Innersense Styling product.
