Leyla shares her insights and techniques with fellow curl enthusiasts from around the world, focusing on the importance of embracing natural textures and the positive impact it can have on self-confidence and overall well-being. This opportunity further solidified Leyla's position as a trusted authority in the industry.

Leyla is a published tight curl artist who has been featured in I am Black Girl Curls first issue in 2022 (For the Curls and Culture magazine) and her work has been featured in ReadCurl magazine. She holds extensive training in the art and science of naturally curly hair and is a Innersense Organic Beauty Pro Stylist and Educator.  Leyla's specializes in tight curls and is Deva Curl certified level 3 and certified in Rezo 1 and 2. Leyla is a Cut It Kinky OG Alum and has completed two certifications in Curly Hair Artistry (CHA).  Leyla has taught a cutting class in DC with fellow colleague  Aaron Scott Lacy with AsimpleLesson in April 2024. Leyla thrives on continuing education and loves to educate her clients on haircare.  Her vision and expertise, allows her to pay attention to detail, creating precision custom shapes best suited for each individuals lifestyle.
